AfriHorn Institute for Health & Research (AIHR) is an African-led, independent health research and capacity-development institute rooted in the Horn of Africa.
AfriHorn works to generate, translate and apply high-quality evidence to address priority health challenges through research, innovation, training, implementation science and strategic partnerships.
The Institute connects researchers, health professionals, laboratories, universities, governments, communities, civil society and development partners to strengthen African research capacity and contribute to healthier people, stronger health systems and more resilient communities.
